Chavez has added helicopters, surface-to-air missiles, it’s speculated that they added a submarine to the deal. U.S. officials hoped to talk Russia out of the arms deal, but senior Kremlin officials said that they see no reason to take advice from the United States.

Scientists Say They’ve Found a Code Beyond Genetics in DNA

Researchers believe they have found a second code in DNA in addition to the genetic code. The genetic code specifies all the proteins that a cell makes. The second code, superimposed on the first, sets the placement of the nucleosomes, miniature protein spools around which the DNA is looped. The spools both protect and control access to the DNA.

North Korea producing highly advanced counterfeit US currency

The counterfeits were nearly flawless. They featured the same high-tech color-shifting ink as genuine American bills and were printed on paper with the same precise composition of fibers. The engraved images were, if anything, finer than those produced by the United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
